I purchased this due to the length and the fact that every other indian costume looks too short. I am 5'10" and it falls just below my knees. The fabric is polyester but looks and feels like suede. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality considering how affordable it was. I ordered the medium. I have a 36" bust, 29" waist, and 39" hips and this costume is pretty roomy. It's as if I am wearing a suede bag/tube. If you fall in the medium range for sizing and you want a more fitted look, select a small instead of the medium. I still plan on keeping the medium because it is very comfortable and is of a decent quality for the price. The fringes were a little kinked after being in the packaging. It is polyester so you may need a steamer to straighten the fringes, an iron is not recommended in the care instructions. The fringes were the only part of the costume that appeared wrinkled. I plan on wearing it for a Western themed costume party.
