The costume is basically what I expected - but the wand is make of very brittle plastic wrapped with satin ribbon. The wand was shattered in three places and I had to do major repair before I could wrap this for my 5 year old Ladybug Girl. The headband is a little tight.5 year old loves it
My 5 year old loves this costume and loves to wear it while we read the books or if she is out exploring in the yard.My Grand daughter loved it! and wouldn't take it off!

Received this a few weeks before Christmas, unfortunately there is no way this will fit a five year old. The waist of the skirt is LITERALLY the size of an 7-8 month old baby's waist. Of course it is made of an elastic band which can at BEST be stretched over a 2-3 year old's waist. The wings are sized perfect for a toddler, but would look small and awkward on any child older than that. They are much smaller than I thought they would be. The wand and headband are very cute. Overall costume is very cute and well made but PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FOR ANY CHILD OLDER THAN 3 !!!LOVED THEM!!
I agree it was sized a bit small,so order for around 3-5 yr old.My daughter loved it and her being small was able to fit fine and she is 7 but every child is different.She is still wearing the outfit after pics and loves it!Butterfly Tutu Set
I got this for my 2 year old. She really likes the wings, everything else she really hasn't had much interest for yet. The set it really cute. The wings seem pretty durable. I read other reviews saying the wand unraveled shortly after receiving it, ours hasn't but maybe it is just because she hasn't really played with it. The wings made it worth it for me. My daughter loved the costume, she was a butterfly for halloween. She looked very cute, but the butterfly wand broke quickly and the skirt was cheaply sewed together and came apart after a few wears. Same with the wings.Great product!

Ordered this for my somewhat petite 4 year old. Fit her well in all areas. The colors are very vibrant and pretty. The tulle skirt is very cheaply made. Looks like they cut it out with scissors... it will start to fray very soon. I had to put it in "hiding" so it doesn't get ruined before Halloween. Please don't get me wrong but this is a wonderful costume that is surprisingly well made from nice materials and durable. The sizing description is far too broad in the one size fits all category and it wasn't even close for an average sized six year old girl to wear this ballerina outfit which made her look like she was wearing a two piece bathing suit.Poor quality
not at all worth the cost....the fabric is horrible and strings fall apart and then it is not worth wearing, Not a great product especially for the priceCute

So I ended up going to Walmart, buying a similar item at the same price but made MUCH better, and gave them both to her.Extremely CHEAP! Do not waste your money...

I just got this in the mail yesterday and it looks nothing like the picture nor the discription. It is made very small for like a small baby when it says that it can fit a child 2-8. It say's that it is made out of tulle but it feels so ruff like a fish netting material and the black ribbon on the bottom is falling off and it was sent that way. I purchased this for my 2 year old's birthday. We put it on her and quickly discovered 2 bells on the floor. Then some more. They are just barely tied onto the bottom of the skirt. I had to get 2 out of her mouth the first 30 minutes. We have had it for 3 weeks and it sits now high up on a shelf until I have time to go through the shirt and reattach all the bells and secure the ones that are still on it. I think I will add a dot of craft glue after I tie them back on to secure the knot. You would think the manufacture could have though of that.
I did not give it a horrible rating because it is fixable, not destroyed and she loves to wear it. I have to say I think she shakes a little more when she wears it so the bells will tinkle.Very cute!
Purchased this for my 2yr old nieces. They loved the bells on it. Thought it was very cute. Would've liked more tuling on the tutu but for the price very adorable. And after all it's just for dress-up.Flimsy
