Costume was cute and served it's purpose (one night outfit) and price reasonable. The only problem was that the snaps didn't stay closed well so I was constantly having to resnap the legs.Holloween suit.
My grandson loved this. He used it to play in long after Holloweed and was upset when he out grew it.

I bought this costume for my son for Halloween when he was 2. He was mostly afraid of costumes--costumed characters, mascots, etc. He didn't want anything confining, covering his face, or anything that altered his look (picky kid at 2!). This was great because we just put it on over a long-sleeved shirt because the weather was cool and left his sneakers on and he looked great. This costume was absolutely adorable, and the Amazon Marketplace transaction was perfectly smooth, but it has a few quality issues that prevent a higher score:
1) The ears tend to hang down in baby's face. This makes getting photographs of baby's face and keeping baby from getting frustrated quite difficult. If only this were the biggest problem.
2) The build quality is pretty poor. Three of the six fasteners for the legs were broken before baby went in. They were crimp style snap fasteners, and they simply could not withstand the force required to separate the snap without disassembling -- either that or they were not assembled correctly in China.
3) One of the ribbons holding one of the carrots disintegrated during wearing, probably from baby chewing / sucking. I guess it couldn't stand up to the moisture. Now there's only one carrot attached.
All in all, don't expect to get more than a few hours use out of this over one or two wearings at...Meets my expectations
This costume is adorable and it met my expectations based on all the costumes I'd worn as a kid.
The material is light, however it can easily be worn over clothing and it does cover the entire body; a plus here in the Northeast when some Halloweens are just brutally cold or windy.
The snaps are not the highest construction, however so long as you note this and take care not to rip open the snaps, they will hold fast to the fabric.
The 12-18 month fit was good on my 18 month old twins who are long and lean. The hat portion was a bit big, but can easily be pinned.
All in all I am satisfied and would recommend the costume.Bigger than you think.
It is so cute. We have not worn it yet. I am going to have to alter it. The listing says 6-12 months, but the package says 6 months to 2 years old...... that's kind of a BIG difference. It is super long, clearly made for a 2 year old, but I am going to attempt to make it work, I just wish they would say it is 6mo-2years and not false advertise the size. I bought this for my son who wanted to be Curios George. Although I knew he would be too big for the actual outfit, I ordered it basically for the mask. It worked out great; he just wore brown sweatpants and a brown long-sleeve shirt. This custome for $16 (even just using the mask) was way better than paying $40 for the other Curious George customers out there. The mask fit his head just fine (a 6 year old's head) and he said it was comfortable to wear & trick-or-treat in.Cute mask... low quality.
The body suit is pretty plain and very thin so had to wear clothes underneath for trick-or-treat. The mask band is too large for a child-size head. I did a Horton Hears a Who Themed birthday party for my 2 year old daughter. I wanted to dress her up as an elephant. The item needed to be cute, comfortable, durable, inexpensive and reusable.
What I didn't like:
the head piece was to big. I could wear it.
it shed when it first came out of the package. I fixed this by unwrapping it several days before using. This helped alot.
It was a little big, but gives her plenty of time to grow into and wear for a long long time.
the inside material is a little rough. I put my daughter in long sleeve shirt to keep her from itching.
What I LOVED:
The costume grew on me the longer we have had it. I didn't like it at all when it first arrived, I now think its adorable.
the big floppy ears
Its large enough to grow into. I suspect next year it will fit BOTH my girls. great for our play box.
the wrists and ankles bunch up. Not enough for my daughter, I used pants underneath that bunched and tucked the...Floppy ears.

I ordered this for my son who is 26 months. He is in the 10% percentile in height and 5% percentile on weight. I read the other reviews and thought well surely my tiny two year old will still fit in the 2-4year old costume...well I was wrong. The sleeves were too short, the legs were too short he could barely get into it and put up the hood. The sizing for this 2T-4T is more like 18-24 months and even then it would be pushing it. I have ordered the 4T-6T size hoping that it is equally off. The costume itself seems well made and is thick but thats no use if it doesn't fit.
I noticed some of the comments about the faulty sizing are several years old, Come on Seller, fix the sizing on the packaging!Runs really small
I bought the size 2T-4T for my 23-month-old and it is already a little too small for her. And she's a petite toddler to begin with (only 20 percentile for her age group). The packaging it came in said it has zipper closure, but it actually had velcro instead of zipper. I have no problem with velcro, but since the costume is already a little small for my baby, the top most velcro that is supposed to be at the neck hits her on her checks. I had to take that velcro off so that it won't scratch up her check. Order a bigger size if you have a big 2-year-old or if your kid is 3 or 4. This will NOT fit them.
Otherwise, this is a durable costume that should hold up well. It is thick too, so best used outdoors to prevent overheating of the child.Too small
Although this was super cute, This item is marked for a 2-4 toddler. There is no way. My daughter just turned 2 and this was tight on her length wise. I paid $40 to have this thing and awful. My son was 8 months old and wearing 12-month clothes when he wore it for Halloween. The costume is really cute, but not very durable. The first time he wore it (for 2 hours) was fine. He got some food on it so I had to wash it. When it came out of the wash, part of the felt on the collar had ripped (although I washed on gentle cycle) and the unfinished seams in the sleeves were starting to unravel. After the third wearing, the unfinished seams in the legs were unraveling too. The crotch also started to pull at the seams, probably from my son crawling around. Also, I was never able to get the mask to go on. If you look carefully at the picture, the mask isn't actually attached. I think they faked it as there's no way you can get this on a child that can reach and grab. I debated putting the mask on him when he was sleeping, just to get a picture, but ended up not using it. So, for $15, you can get at least one wearing out of it and some nice pictures as long as you're not too...AWESOME ON MY SON
This costume is so adorable! My son is 4 months old, he looks better than the picture of the kid on the package! The mask is funky because you have to find a way to rig the string to the mask, but it is adorable!!!!! Great buy, good price for it as well! I say jump on it!Cute !

This costume is cute and my daughter looked adorable but there were two problems - the first is that the costume is like a big lint roller, EVERYTHING stuck to it and our dog has white hair so this did not look very nice. I tried to use a lint roller to clean it off and it wouldn't work, because the hair just kept sticking to it so I actually had to pull of all the hair piece by piece before we went out.
Other problem is when I washed it, it got all these fuzzy things all over it and the material almost seemed to change after being washed... I washed ir once and it looks like it has been worn and washed a million times, I hate stuff that does that. good thing we only needed it for one night.
The costume is cute, but I wouldn't buy another from the same company. I think next year I'll go to the Disney store I've heard good things about there and Target having cute costumes.wonderful costume for baby

The costume is perfect if your kid loves George. Lots of people leaving reviews stated it would fit their 2 year old but I don't believe that. Our 17 month old is in the 50th percentile of height and weight and it fits him perfectly. We bought the 6-12 month size so if your kid is 6 months it won't fit. The buttons that snap around the legs and in the back are a bit cheap but for $15 it works. Would definitely purchase again!TOO BIG
I was very pleased with how fast I recieved the package, but upon opening I found that the costume looked way too big. I bought the 1-6 mo old size for my 8 mo old son. It looks more like a 2T. I will let him try it on today and see if it will fit somewhat. I thought about returning it, but just read the seller's return policy - "unopened and unused." So how exactly am I supposed to know if it will fit? I don't think I will be buying from this seller again, unless it has nothing to do with sizes.Cute, but size is WAY off
