Bought this for a medieval feast participants were dressing up for. All in all, not bad, but not overly impressed either. Was a little disappointed that the wrists on the shirt and the bottoms of the knickers had cheap/flimsy tie strings. It's easy enough to put elastic in them (no significant sewing skills required). I'm a petite woman that needed a Spiderman costume for a dance number in our annual recital. I kept seeing costumes for very large men. Then I stumbled upon this one. I had to gamble on it because I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone regarding length. I'm glad I did because it fits fine. Its still HUGE on me, but the muscles disguise that well. I had to sew a basting stitch from lower leg to ankle and lower arm to wrist to make them look fitted, ALTHOUGH that could have just been safety pinned. BTW THE MASK doesn't go long enough down the neck so A LOT of skin shows. I had to buy a separate mask that has a long neck line and goes down chest. My total expense for this costume (including the additional mask) was $81.69, far more than I would usually spend on a costume, but it will be well worth it come SHOW TIME!> Click to See Editorial Reviews

I read some not so good reviews about this costume but I took the risk! I bought it for my son in a small, he is pretty tall for his age and it was a little big so just keep in mind that it runs about 1 size bigger. I tightened up the boot covers with the lace and it really looks like the pants are tucked into the boots! My son loved it and it looks like a real uniform. The material is not cheap I washed it before letting him wear it and it held up just fine! I definitely recommend this product for halloween or everyday dress up!Cute

Guys, I would not recommend this costume, nor would I recommend this seller, "Brands on Sale", who does not do returns on costumes (issue for me since you don't quite know what you are getting in any case with clothing in general, ex: size or quality).
We just got it and are very disappointed. It is terribly hard and scratchy on the inside. The costumes interior is nearly the texture of the plastic side of Velcro (the toothy side) (enough that my munchkins hair catches in it and her skin is scratched). It is also a very "large" small (course I have read others having the opposite problem with size...probably only depends which end of 6-8 you are looking at~we are on the youngest side, actually 5 and wanted to give her plenty of growing room).
I also recommend checking this seller's return policies before purchasing to make sure you are ok with them. They nearly do not accept returns (really have no idea what they do accept returns on...guess if the item is defect...Puppy-perfect

The buckles look cool but are cheap flimsy plastic that will tear easily. You can get the same costume minus the jacket at your local party store for a lot less. The jump suit has one velcro closer at the top. The fabric is very light, it reminds me of shiny weed blocking fabric. The X on the front is just screened on, in the picture it looks stitched on. The hat reminds me of the old 80's costumes, it's half a plastic form with an elastic to hold the back on and it has clear sun glasses molded to it. I would send it back but my son thinks it's great, I think it looks cheap and the picture is very misleading but he's the one who has to where it.Hugely disappointed!!!!
The racer X costume we purchased (Rubie's) arrived within the 5-7 day timeframe; thank you. However just as the previous customer stated the costume that was sent was not the quality costume advertised or worth the $25+ (don't remember, no receipt sent) we payed. We are hugely disappointed and feel robbed, my son (9) helped pick out this costume due to it's detail and "cool look" (like leather) but even he can visibly recognize the difference in the helmet (covers only front of head/clear glasses glued), no ridges on arms, thin cheap made-from-nerf material that was sent to us in it's place.
