I am a size 4 and the Small ordered was for sizes 6-10. It left a lot of midriff skin showing, unlike the picture. Also, although the skirt fit (but remember I am a size 4), the slit came up way too far. I would have had to sew it so that I could walk or sit without exposing underwear. I ordered the costume specifically for the coverage and was very disappointed. I wish I had returned it.
