I wear a size 20 which this costume claims to fit. It didn't fit me. If it had some stretch, maybe. I had to return it, but the return was easy. It does look like the photo...which isn't much like a mermaid. I'll be making my own tail for Halloween this year...my plan was to use this costume as a base. The process of working with Amazon for returns was seamless.
