My daughter wore this when she was 4 months old and it was adorable! Halloween was a cooler night, so we just put her in green footie PJ's and put the banana costume over top of it. The material is kind of cheesy and it looks like it would itch, BUT your kid's skin does not really touch it. The area around the face is large enough so baby's face is not rubbing the sides. I am sure you can tell from the image, but this costume is only for a small baby who does not crawl yet. The bunting style definately helps to keep baby warm as well.
cute for a baby, but floppy
I purchased this costume for my daughter, and she wore it when she was 2 and a half months old. It's nice in that it's very soft, and closes with velcro so it's easy to get on and off. It's soft and snuggly and pretty simple (my daughter just wore it over her long-sleeved jammies since it has no sleeves). I would say that this is probably more appropriate for a baby over 3 or 4 months old, because it's a little long, and therefore the top and bottom sort of flop over. Overall though, it makes a good comfy, easy costume for a baby.
