We used this in combination with a voice changing Darth mask, some batman gloves and some boots we added some foam pieces to to make them look more "spacey".
Huge hit and it looked great.
I would recommend it for that. By itself a few pieces are not that great, but at least it's a couple tweaks away from a great costume.
