This costume will not fit any child over 2 years old. It is not a size 2, it is a size 1 years old, which this company calls 2T-4T. It's actually too small for the two year olds I know, but would maybe fit a petite 2 year old.
Be warned!
A very kind friend got this costume for my small 3 year old and she can't squeeze into it at all. We are all very disappointed.
I should have listened...
Okay, I admit it...I ignored the reviews about size issues because my 2 year old is a small guy. I should have listened. He wears 24 months clothing, so I thought this costume would be fine, even if it runs small. Nope. The torso is cut so short, it barely fit over his shoulders and the hood doesn't fit over his head. The pants are a good length; it's just cut strangely in the upper body. If it were a two piece costume, I don't think it would be an issue.
Aside from the problems with fit, I am disappointed in the color of the costume. The colors look vibrant in the photo, but they're pretty dull and pastel in person--not at all like an actual peacock. It looks quite different from the picture. I'm actually wondering if it's a knock-off of the costume pictured.

Ordered the 0-6 month size and it was slightly big for my 4 month old. Nice material and colors. But, the "feather" part for the back is sort of a fleixble cardboard with two straps that you slips their arms through. My son couldn't stand it because he couldn't move his arms easily. So, we just didn't bother with it.
