Not for you unless you are a skinny minnie
I was so excited to find a pirate maternity costume to match the rest of my family for Halloween. I was a size 12/14 before I was pregnant and, even though this said size "standard", the reviews about fitting into this costume at 8 months pregnant gave me hope that at 6 months I'd be able to fit into this. I received the costume yesterday and all I have to say is this must have been made for "standard" model sized pregnant women. I'm only 14 weeks right now and the pants barely fit. The tummy panel is made of really tight fabric and I can't see how this would stretch over even the skinniest woman's hugely pregnant belly. If you are not a size 4 I'd recommend skipping this costume.

Boots are silly, but it fits well
I tape-measured my belly just before writing this, and I currently have a 37 inch waistline. I was a size 6 (5'4'') before this pregnancy. I didn't expect this to fit perfectly (one sized fits all items rarely do), but it fits better than expected. I could see that if I were full term (I'm 24 weeks now) it would probably be too tight, so if you are far along you might end up having to wear this with your own pants (not a huge loss as the shirt and vest are the cool parts of this suit anyway.). The fake boot things on the ends of the pants just look silly, and I'm probably going to cut them off and wear my own boots. The hat arrived very squashed looking from being folded up in the package, but I was able to reshape it and I like the look now. I'm adding in some large hoop earrings, a rubber sword I got for a dollar at a thrift shop, and (as mentioned) my own boots because I already had a pair of brown healed boots that look better than the cloth shoe covers this costume comes with. If...
