While I overall liked the costume, I always wash costumes before wear. The inside lining shredded so that was kind of a pain. But it didn't affect the outside at all and it was still VERY warm and snuggly. In some ways, it might be better for outside use than inside use for that reason. My little one really did look adorable though!
