My son is almost 2. We bought this for Halloween 2010. He actually loves wearing the cap with the wings, he never lets us put hats on him but this one he knows is different. His attitude even changes when he's wearing this, he gains this confidence. Anyway, if we let him wear ir everyday he would. I highly recommend purchasing this, its soo cute on a little boy with the muscles and cape.
Side Note: We had a hard time finding a hammer for a toddler that we could send him to school with and let him play with. Instead of buying the $17 hard plastic hammer, we went to the local craft store and bought a styrofoam stick and styrofoam square, tacky glued them together, spray painted the whole thing silver, and wrapped the handle with brown leather. It was awesome and toddler-safe.

This costume is great. We got it for last Halloween and it was a hit! It was very well made. It was easier to get on and off compared to previous costumes. A mask wasn't necessary which is a big plus! This costume has seen a lot of wear since the new Avengers movie release. It has held up to multiple playtimes. I highly recommend this costume!
Very cute costume
First off this costume does run a bit small. My son was wearing size 18-24months and the 2t I ordered fit him perfectly. It did serve its purpose though.
