I get so tired of paying more than $20 for costumes that arrive and are poor quality and nothing like the advertised photo. That was NOT my experience with this purchase. This costume has great fabrics, is super comfortable and looks even cuter on my kid than it does in the photo. We layered a white tee-shirt under the vest and blouse sleeves, and put him in regular brown boots rather than using the boot toppers that came in the set, and it was a hit (with my little guy and all the neighbors and friends that he growled at all evening). I think this is the cutest toddler pirate costume online.
Looked great
Despite a really low price, this costume looked great and held up through 3 Halloween events my 2-yr old attended.
Great pirate costume
This is the best costume I've found in this price range. It's adorable on my 2 year old. Nice colors and the materials are cute and flexable. Although I did find a loose thread and it isn't the thickest thing ever, I have paid more for costumes that have less accessories included, fall apart, aren't sized correctly, and are just very cheap overall. Only a few small cons here: the belt is kind of big and the Velcro closure doesn't allow a wide range for adjusting. The boot covers -although durable- are a little snug, but my son has small feet so they work for us (he wears a 6 or 7). Also, due to the foam-type material of the hat and the size of the package it has to fit into, there is a big crease on the front of the hat from being folded. But because of the style of the hat it doesn't look too bad. We're really happy with this costume overall. My son seems to enjoy it and he isn't uncomfortable in it. Will try to buy this brand again.
