The skirt looks a little bit different in the picture. It makes a person imagine that there are two layers (ie an underskirt), but in reality there is only one.
However, I am quite pleased with this skirt. It was made in India, but the shipping is extremely fast (it arrived less than a week after ordering -- many US-made products take a lot longer!). In relation to Indian prices, with which I am very familiar, it is overpriced, but the color is great -- very vibrant and deep red. After all, it is tremendously difficult to get another red skirt like this one through Amazon (if you don't believe me, try finding one). Not too sheer, but it will need some ironing.
Perfectly fine for everyday wear as well.
