I hate that most women's costumes are more appropriate for women of the night than for women who might be going to a costume party with family or colleagues. This outfit is very sweet and fit the bill (I was playing Alice for a retirement skit at work). My only complaints are that the shoulder straps are too frilly (more french maid than Alice) and I needed to safety pin them to get them to stay up. Otherwise, great!
Great "traditional" Alice costume!
I was very pleased when I received the costume in the mail. I was looking for a very "traditional" Alice costume and was happy to find this one. I did alter it a bit to make it a little bit more "sassy" but it fit well and was just like the picture.
Cute "Alice" costume
If you want a costume to use just a few times, this is fine; however, it arrived in the mail very wrinkled and the fabric cannot be ironed. I'm trying to figure out how to straighten out the 100% polyester without ruining the dress and apron. The outfit is cute and great for someone who needs a costume fast and can't sew.
