Costume fine, though small. Mask is disappointing
I purchased both the male and female Klingon costumes by Rubies from amazon. [Purchased early for our big annual costume party while costumes are on sale]. I've reviewed the men's too.

My comments are the same for both of them. The costumes themselves are OK. These are the "deluxe" costumes because they have quilted accents and the arms of the tunics are black "fur". However, they run small. The women's costume, for example, says that it fits up to size 14 and I think that is JUST barely. The over-the-head tunic is narrow and a size 14 might need help pulling it down.

The big disappointment, though, is the mask. See the picture on this page, which also appears on the costume packaging. See how long and lush the Klingon hair is? Well, on neither the men's nor the women's costume does the mask's hair look anything remotely like that. It is sparse. It is scraggly. It is thin and applied in a single row of patches rather than all over the "head". It barely...

You'll be disappointed....
I bought both the mens and womens outfits and returned both! The outfits were "ok"...I could make my own that would be much better! But the head pieces...which are the signature part of a Klingon outfit...were horrible. Cheap and poorly made. They looked NOTHING like the pictures they use to represent what you are purchasing. Hardly any hair at all...and short. Not the full, long hair shown on the outside of the package.
Unless you are willing to purchase a wig and try to add it to the headpiece, this costume is not for you!

Womes Star Trek Klingon
I ordered this costume and was disappointed. The picture advertised on the web site and on the packaging was not exacly the same thing. The two glaring errors are 1) missing belt and 2) the hair on the web site/packaging shows more than should length and full. The hair was actually pretty sparse and patchy at best.

I am attempting to contact the seller for a belt or possibly a refund. My suggestion to the seller would be to update the picture and suspect this would solve the problems for everyone. order number: 105-7084302-9706638
