I ordered this costume through Amazon as the basis of a Queen of Hearts costume I was constructing. It was available here in adult XL, which I could not get, even on the manufacturer's website. It arrived promptly, in the size I wanted (I worried at first that Amazon was offering more sizes than were really available). The white parts are satin, and the darker parts (I ordered one in a wine color) are velveteen. The brocade crown isn't much to write home about, just some cordage on an elastic band, but would suffice. I added a crown I ordered sepearately.
Anyway, the dress looks like it cost much more than it did, was comfortable, and fit to size. Very happy with the product, and I got lots of comments at the costume party.

i used it more for my photo shoot for the victorian fair and renaissance its an easy slip over and very comfortable everyone loved it specially the young, very good quility
Great Costume...
I ordered this in a large and was surprized when it arrived in a medium. Although I am rather busty and big in the hips, it fit great. It is a very durable costume and has both velvet-like and satiny textures. I would recommend dry cleaning or spot cleaning as the colors might run. The sleeves are gorgeous. I tossed out the headband, though. It didn't seem to fit with the rest of the dress.
