I highly recommend this if you're looking for an add on to any monk, knight, plague doctor etc. costume. The material is thick enough so its not see through, but just light enough to be breathable, plus you can see that its good quality. I wear boxers a black t shirt under this(down in Florida). Other than the item arrived promptly, and I recommend the seller.
Monks robe
I've seen monks robes in various places on the Internet, and typically they cost almost $200, with some over that. I wanted something less than that because I wouldn't be wearing the robe as often as a real monk. I didn't want to get one that was cheaply made either. I found this one for less than $100, and crossed my fingers hoping it would last thru a few wearings. I can tell you it has the same quality as the robe at the local medieval weapons and outfit store. Can't wait to wear it at the next DragonCon!
Making a fashion statement
Nice material, good size. The belt is a little skimpy (just a cloth strip). I was looking for more of a sash or rope, but all in all a very nice buy
