This is generally a fine costume, but unless you happen to be exactly the right size and shape to fit the costume (tall and obese) you'll need to spend a good bit of time taking it in so that it fits.

Okay, first off, I did like the costume, don't get me wrong. If you need it for a party, then it is okay. If you're doing something for the civil war though like a play or a reenactment, I would not recommend this costume. The color in the picture shows a dark blue, which is what the Union wore during the civil war, but the actual costume is light blue. i bought a size up just in case this costume ran small, and it STILL was too tight! the costume has absolutely NO give in it, it's not stretchy at all. i think that was the main problem, b/c if it stretched i probably could have made it work.
this costume was made for skinny women and not a woman with boobs & butt like me. if you're skinny then by all means purchase away... but i returned mine. and i'm still upset i had to pay a return shipping fee of over $10 when the costume was like $26! ugh> Click to See Editorial Reviews

Spiderman Muscle Teen Costume -

I'm a petite woman that needed a Spiderman costume for a dance number in our annual recital. I kept seeing costumes for very large men. Then I stumbled upon this one. I had to gamble on it because I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone regarding length. I'm glad I did because it fits fine. Its still HUGE on me, but the muscles disguise that well. I had to sew a basting stitch from lower leg to ankle and lower arm to wrist to make them look fitted, ALTHOUGH that could have just been safety pinned. BTW THE MASK doesn't go long enough down the neck so A LOT of skin shows. I had to buy a separate mask that has a long neck line and goes down chest. My total expense for this costume (including the additional mask) was $81.69, far more than I would usually spend on a costume, but it will be well worth it come SHOW TIME!> Click to See Editorial Reviews
