This jacket is good for the price. That's about it. It is not fitted in any way, and comes with a flimsy belt. It was needed for one night (as is often the case) and was worn by an energetic teenager. I noticed when it returned home that there was a big tear along the seam under the arm which was repaired easily but for the price paid and for what it was needed for, it did the job.Cute
Although they are of a cheap material, I knew what I was getting. So the price was perfect. It was used for decoration but I really believe it would have held up well if used as a costume. Arrived as scheduled.Good for the price
My youngest son needed an inexpensive Santa jacket for a short Christmas play, and this product fit the bill. My older son also wore it to film a video for our Church Christmas program. The jacket held up for both activities, but we had to throw it away after that. However, that was about what I expected for the price. The jacket and hat are not plush like traditional Santa suits. Rather, they are constructed of a felt-like material that will pill and come apart with time and use. Again, this is an inexpensive piece, so it met my expectations. The belt is a thin synthetic material with a plastic buckle. We pinned it in place, and it served its purpose nicely. If you're looking for an authentic-looking, durable costume, I suggest you look elsewhere. I read some not so good reviews about this costume but I took the risk! I bought it for my son in a small, he is pretty tall for his age and it was a little big so just keep in mind that it runs about 1 size bigger. I tightened up the boot covers with the lace and it really looks like the pants are tucked into the boots! My son loved it and it looks like a real uniform. The material is not cheap I washed it before letting him wear it and it held up just fine! I definitely recommend this product for halloween or everyday dress up!Cute
I bought this for my 5 year old son for Halloween. When it arrived, I tried it on him. It fit really good. My son is small for his age.
I rated this a 4 because the belt wouldn't work. I ended up just giving it to him to play with. And the outfit was supposed to come with the hat and it was missing. Otherwise, my son looks super cute in this outfit and I can't wait for Halloween to get here this year.Halloween Soldier

First of all, I ordered this shirt at the last minute from "Designs by Kate", and they went above and beyond to get it to me in time. Secondly, the shirt itself is very high quality. Crisp, white and well-laced- it looks like something that might actually be worn in the period. I.e., it's not your typical costume historic shirt or a thin, poorly made fabric like one so often finds. I'm 5'6" and the small sizing was a tad big around the waist, so if you're a thin frame consider a smaller-than-normal size. But that's just a matter of sizing- all around this shirt can't be beat for the double the price.Good Shirt
I purchased this shirt for my husband to wear to a festival. It's good quality and should last for quite awhile. I would consider buying a size s/m if you usually wear a large size t-shirt. My husband usually wears a large, and I ordered him the l/xl shirt, but it's pretty roomy.Great peroid style shirt
Just got this shirt in the mail today. Great quality period style shirt. Perfect for a swashbuckler, noble, or, if you add some filth, a great peasant shirt as well. Gold eyelets and a silk string for the chest and comfortable yet strong elastic around the wrists. Material breathes without feeling light and cheap. If you want to order this one, buyer beware. The size is very deceiving. I ordered a 10-14 and I normally wear a size 10 in misses. I was unable to get the straps over my shoulders! The material is also extremely delicate so don't plan on wearing this more than once, it simply won't hold up.Crup
Okay so I read the reviews I thought surely ordering 2 sizes larger will put me in the clear! Wrong. I wear a dress size 8, I ordered the medium 10-14...The top is still entirely too tiny, I sort of wonder if they just threw together spare parts that weren't even the right size because the skirt fit just fine...it's absurd. The quality is cheap but that is to be expected from a 20$ costume so no surprises there.check the size

A few seams broke before it began, but with some glue and safety pins, it stayed together amazing well throughout the muddy obstacles and washed almost perfectly clean.
