This item is horrible. "decals" stuck together and to the shipping paper upon packaging... the cloth is nothing like the picture.
Inexpensive polyester, medium shirt size, not a poncho
This is a medium shirt size, thin polyester costume with plastic iron-on lettering.
It is not a true poncho; it is not the full adult body size pictured, nor is it made of durable materials such as dyed wool.
The neck opening will fit any size head and neck, but due to the use of polyester, the costume will bunch up above the shoulders on many adults, and the front lower point of the "poncho" may barely hang down to the waist -- exposing much of the wearer's hips, to either side of the point.
This is an appropriate low-cost costume for a child or small adult which may last 1-2 years if well-cared for. (Hand wash only, wear only for special occasions.)
Cheap costume quality item
This item is of the quality typically found in cheap children's costumes. It is not wool, but some very thin material, with iron on decals. It is about 1/4 the size of the poncho pictured and is so "costume-y" it even ties at the back of the neck like a hospital gown. I bought it out of desperation, despite the other poor reviews, but immediately decided upon receipt that I was nowhere near that desperate. An authentic poncho from Guadalajara purchased from ebay better represented the spirit, if not the actual look of Betty Suarez this Halloween.
