This costume is totally adorable and my 4 year old nephew now thinks I'm the greatest aunt ever because I purchased it for him. It has an "Arc Reactor" center that can be turned on/off. it has puffy "muscles" in the chest which is good insulation if you are trick or treating in the cold. He has calcification of several vertebrae, has to stay warm in the winter time, so I look for that in a doggie sweater. My chinese crested loved this sweater, and I loved how she looked wearing it. It felt cuddly, warm, and soft. It was a tiny bit large when it arrived, but not so much that she was uncomfortable wearing it. Because winter is too cold for Chablis, even though she's a powder puff variety, she wore it for walks underneath her shearling coat. It works fine for walks, but during the rest of the day, when the coat doesn't anchor the sweater, I can't use it. This is a very low quality Halloween costume. There is no armor in the back, so you look like a clone-trooper taking a poo when you wear it. The helmet is made from two velcro'd together pieces of VERY low quality plastic wherein the visor lines up about an inch below where your actual eyes are (explains the lack of accuracy in the films, though). The belt and gloves aren't bad though.
The 'armor' itself is sewn to the body-stocking but sags and is made to look like it has battle damage that was obviously inflicted by Catwoman's mentally handicapped child, Mongo. The armor also just sort of sags off the stocking, making it look like you have become the world's (or galaxy's) frumpiest trooper who wears a cologne smelling of pool toys and disappointment.Nice costume, but helmet need a lot of work.
I bought this costume for the star wars convention. When i first tryed it on, the hard part was the velcrow that made it stay on. you had to have someone else do that for you. The shoulder armour that looks good, well it is, but its not hard. it is more like the stuff that they used in the body armour on the jump-suit.
and then theres the helmet.

My 3 year old Springer Spaniel smelled it a few times, and then ignored it.
Looks to be well constructed, very soft and colorful, and has a squeaker in the body. The wings have something crinkly in them. Makes some noise when it is squeezed.
I'll update if my dog takes to it later, and change my rating to a 5 star.
UPDATE: Well, my dog finally took a liking to the duck, a couple of days ago. I left it in his coup for about a week and the original duck smell went away and was replaced by the smell of his contents of the coup.

Decent Halloween costume - if you have a belly (unlike me) you should probably upsize as it fits very tight. The color of the actual items is much better than in the photo which looks faded. The only problem I had were some loose threads that appeared on the outer side of one of the seems. I was able to trim the threads and got lots of compliments on Halloween. Good value costume! The back of the costume is tied together. After wearing the costume a few times, the strings became hopelessly tangled and had to cut to get out of the costume. Velcro would have made more sense. I recommend anyone buying this costume attach some Velcro strips from a store like Walmart or hobby store and cut off the strings.Great costume for the price.
This is a very entertaining costume. It ties in the back which is annoying but this can be fix easily with a single safty pin. Buyer beware if you are over 6'3". First of all, the styling is awesome, it really looks like it belongs on an X-wing pilot! With the deep orange color and the white leather ribbing in the front, back, and down the sleeves, you can totally tell it was designed after the flight suits in the movies. It's also well made; very soft, warm, and comfortable. As totally cool as I think they made the hood, you have to be 100% SW Geek to sport that 24/7, but you can always tuck it in the back and it still looks great. I normally wear a size XL in jackets, but apparently I'm built a bit more like Jek "piggy" Porkins these days than Luke Skywalker, so I returned it for a 3X, which is almost too big, but I like to layer in the winter months, so it ends up being a great fit for me. And with the fuzzy Rebel logo patch right on the front... BAM! I'm ready for a whole Empire of TIE fighters! Happy I am with this cool STAR WARS jacket! :-)Awesome Jacket

I was looking forward to wearing this costume but was very unhappy on opening the box. The costume did come as avertised but the quality of the costume is very poor.
1. There is no back to the leg and cod parts and they are fastend by 4 pieces of string, these do not keep them in place.
2. The chest is held in place by one strap of velcro on the back which does nothing to hold in place.
3. The full mask was out of shape and did not fit correctly.
4. The overall rubber material was of a low quality and does not reflect the overall price tag.
I have returned the costume and I am now looking for an alternative.crap quality.
This entire costume is from the front. From the back without a cape you'd look like an ass. Cod pieces tie on with string. Back uses a piece of velcro. The chest is baggy. The mask I had to replace with another mask which cost a few hundred bucks. Boot cover things are kind of a joke. So are essentially strapping some rubber pieces to a leotard. garbage. My only complaint is that the back is velcro which can be a little tricky to secure by one person. I purchased this for my teenaged sons. They are 5'10" or so and 180-ish. The Adult medium size fit them just fine. The fake leather part of the costume (brown) was, of course, all wrinkled when it arrived squished in the package. I was able to smooth it out by ironing on a low setting from the backside with a damp cloth. I think if you used a high heat the "fabric" would melt. So, be very careful! The white undergarment is very thin. You will need to wear shorts under it. The red cape is awesome. And, all the accessories that come with the costume are adjustable - the arm bands, the headband, the leg things...great stuff! The wrist covers are a little big but not overly so. The little kids at VBS this summer were very impressed with the "Roman soldiers" that came to see them.Good enough, but misleading image.
So, this costume comes with the brown "armor" with the attached red cape, a white tunic for underneath which is kind of like a satin/silky sleep shirt for girls, two bicep circlets, two forearm bands, a headband, and 2 shin covers.
For reference: I am 5'9 and 170 lbs with an average-athletic build. I am not a muscle-bound gym rat, nor am I overweight. I have a solid frame with decent muscle mass. i bought the Medium and the fit of the tunic and armor pieces is just right.
Issues: The image makes it look like the front of the brown armor is a solid piece. It isn't. It's more like a set of ribbons that hang down so when you move they swing and the white tunic underneath shows through. Also, the armor is only for the front. The only thing covering your back end is the tunic and the cape. The tunic ties in the back with a strip of fabric which seems like it will work well enough. The costume comes with everything in the picture except the Sword and the Sandals. I am 5'6 and weigh about 170 lbs and I got the medium and it fits fine. The "dress" portion actually goes all the way to my knees. In fact, the only part that gives it an actual "size" is the head hole on top. Everything else just "ties in the back." The quality is what you'd expect from Party City or any local party store. It's one of those "all in one" costumes that comes in a plastic bag. The leather is colored plastic and the items all velcro to fit your shape. The red cape and white under shirt are super thin polyester. But all that to say, for the price - you're getting something pretty decent. I am going to use this for a Kids Vacation Bible School story time at church. OK, I have to rave about this costume, which was the hit of my fifth grader's school Halloween parade. The costume as plenty of "wow factor" (most notably by making a full 2 feet taller than everyone else, because of the large head on it!), but it seems pretty durable, surviving a long night of trick or treating, as well as two different Halloween parties. This is a thin layer of foam. The head is removable, and has velcro to connect it to the body. It is breathable, and I did not get very hot wearing this, and actually used it two years in a row. There are slits in the wrist to allow you to still use your hands, which I found very handy for holding things, and opening doors. This costume was a great hit with all! The mask is a bit hot, but that's to be expected, right?
The only fault for this costume is the zipper. It doesn't go down to the crotch area, so I had to rip a hole in order to use the restroom. This also makes it a bit snug for a man's frame to squeeze into the arms of the costume.
The jumpsuit itself is a bit too clean as well...it takes away from the costume a bit. I would recommend buying earlier than October and washing a couple hundred times to get that "authentic" look. I rolled around in my backyard (literally) but the dirt just fell off. ha!

I purchased this item 2 years ago, as a rabid Maul fan I looked at the pictures and just swooned over the great fabric work that was done to recreate the costume...the reality is that this costume is a cheap piece of junk. Cheaply sewn Velcro everywhere (and coming off in more than one place) a cheap as hell plastic mask (painted poorly, and thin, cheap plastic). Worthless boot coverings that looked like a bad joke...EVERYTHING about this costume is substandard. Halloween is a month away. This costume looked wonderful in the little picture and was obviously a great choice. When it came in the mail today I was so excited to try it on. What I find is a costume that was in the WRONG SIZE. WRONG SIZE. one more time, WRONG SIZE. Not only was it WRONGLY SIZED, it also was very cheaply designed, shaped TERRIBLY, and didn't make much SENSE AT ALLEverything looks great, except for the mask. TOO BIG!!!!
I ordered this product for Halloween, and based on the reviews posted before me I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to buy. I finally decided it was the best option and the cheapest as well, when I got it in the mail, the packaging was great, it was not damaged at all. One thing is it doesn't breathe so it might get hot, but for halloween it might be a cold by then. The mask is way too big, I just had to do some modified it a little and it fit perfect, the painting on it looks great, and it is latex so it can mold really well if you modified like I did. The shipping wss on time, didn't have any problems with it, and especially since the delivery date was on a holiday. I paid $55, so I think I got a good product for what I paid. I would recommend it. I forgot to mention the costume looked so great, when people saw me with the costume on, they liked it a lot too and took pictures with me. My buddy plays Santa around christmas and needed a replacement suit, so he ordered this XL suit through my account. When he got it he tried it on and everything fit just fine except for the coat. No XL person in the world could wear this thing. The tag says One size fits all, uhhhh nope. The coat was made for maybe a 13-16 year old boy, that's the only person it would look right on. He contacted the company and they said that's the size that comes with the suit.
