I bought this for a 70s themed party several weeks ago. Let's just say, this is obviously a Juniors large and not a true womens large. I am a size 12, and usually wear a womens large (12/14). I tried it on and was very disappointed at how small it was cut.
I contacted customer service about returning it... that added insult to disappointment. They gave me a return authorization number to put on the box to send back, but I was informed there would be a 20% restocking fee. **UGH**

I work on a cruise ship that carries some 6000 people, out of which some 1400 is crew. Most of us does anything between 4-8 months per contract and trust me, after some time, you really need to vent some steam. Thus, back deck parties.
For the record, whatever party you've been on, trust me, it can't hold a candle to crew parties.
Anyway, this one was organized by my dept and I decided to go as...(drumroll)...HELLBOY! Topic was SUPERHEROES AND SUPERVILLAINS so Hellboy fit perfectly.
I went with this costume as it looked quite good on the photo. Oh boy, was I disappointed. Well, not entirely, but...
OK, lets start with PROs:
+ Officially licensed product (hmmmm...)
+ Doesn't look half-bad, once you put it on
+ Headpiece is actually of very good quality, although it tends to get hot under it. Maybe if you actually have hair is different, but I'm bald and trust me, after 2 hours even in a/c area I was sweating...A lot of defects with the manufacture
The inside layer on the jacket was stitched the wrong way and I had to get it fixed in order to fit my arms. Also, stitches around the jacket were coming loose and the Red Punch looks very cheap.....and no Tail! I feel very disappointed. Since there's no other descent costume around, I'll just have to do my best with it.Read description carefully before buying.
Luckily for me I had no plans to use the hand that came with this costume. I bought it strictly for the coat. The coat is a vinyl jacket, thin, but with a little bit of airbrushing can look much better. The hand that comes with the cosutme is not really a hand. I just purchased this costume for my husband two weeks ago in preparation for Halloween, and must say it looks absolutely wonderful!
The costume comes with just about everything you see on the display image:
- plastic scissor-hands/gloves
- wig
- jacket
- pants/belt
- accessories
- even a make-up kit for that pasty/pale appearance!
One small hitch though is that it did >not< come with boots, but that is not a big deal as we had an old pair of black boots anyway. The adult size is a bit large for my husband (he's 5'7) - but again, is not too big a deal if you're willing to bend some seams and tie some of the corners down with bobby pins (they actually blend in with the costume nicely anyway). The quality is also very high, worth the 160$ price-tag, and seems very well put together. This costume is worth every penny - it's well made, looks great, and definitely doesn't have that 'cheap costume' feel that so many Halloween costumes have. It does come fairly high up on the thighs so an underslip or boy shorts might be recommended if you want to bend over.

I ordered this costume in large being I am really really tall (5.9') and usually costumes like this run small. The skirt was short but I added dark tights and a black petticoat(to add length to skirt) and it was perfect. The costume comes with tights, choker and of course the costume. Everything was top quality no loose stitches nor cheap fabric. Matter of fact I might wear this again NEXT Halloween just because it fits perfect and I got TONS of compliments on it. The collar is cheaply made with small bells, I have a smaller than average lab that this barely fit even though the size I purchased should have been adequate and the picture even sports a golden retriever. My dog did not wear this for Christmas but rather utilized her old one from last year that looked much better!Way too small
My dog weighs about 50lbs and the packaging shows a retriever on the package. The quality was fine and it was cute but it was way too small. I had to cut it and then zip tie it to her collar and then it only went 3/4 way around.

I ordered this hoping it would come in time for a costume party and it did not. On Amazon I was able to follow the process for returns, paid more than $6 to ship it back and they refused the return. They only offer returns if it's due to a wrong item shipped or defective item. Point for shopping in-store I guess, and big negative points for this company and their policies.
It's called a 'seasonal' item, even if you're buying a costume in February? People don't just get dressed up on Halloween and even so I should have been stopped in the returns process if I was just going to get this crappy costume (went to a shop and wore an amazing costume that wouldn't have even begun to fit in the flimsy box this came in, let alone the hat).

Ordered for my roommate and its soppose to come with the white pants but it didn't.too close to Halloween to return so had to compramiseGreat costume!
The pants were a bit big around and transparent so my fiance wore pants underneath and tucked the costume pants into them (since there was no drawstring or belt loops). Depending on your height they will most likely be a bit long because they fit him just right... I believe his pant size is 32 X 36 (could be off on the inseem, he is 6'2" in total). We bought shoe cover boot look a likes in addition to what was provided and thank goodness! The shoes in this package give you feux elephantitis! Beware if you wear an XL hat because my fiance's L fitting barely made the cut.

At first, I was very excited to order the Martha Washington Colonial Costume. It was exactly what I needed for a production I was in. However, upon receiving the item, I came to realize that there was absolutely NO WAY this costume would fit. I am typically size 14, so I ordered an XL. The top was comparable to a woman's size 8 and the skirt was comparable to a woman's size 28. I do not understand how this would be considered an XL. When I called the company for help, they claimed that if the costume was labeled with an XL tag, then all of the XL's would be the same fit.
I needed this costume in a hurry. I chose and PAID FOR 2 day shipping- I ordered the costume on a Thursday, and did not receive the costume until TUESDAY!!! The company had no idea why it took so long, and did not give me a refund on shipping.
Needless to say, I returned the costume, suffered the loss of the shipping costs, and found something else to wear for the production.
I...nice look but needs more or better fasteners up the front
The few little pieces of velcro that are suppose to hole the blouse closed are not sufficient. I had to sew on five snaps in addition.Great for school presentation

The material is fairly strong and the sizing was plenty roomy/comfortable (I'm 5'10" - 200lbs). The only issue was the zipper in the front broke off within 2 minutes. I had to use safety pins to hold it together (or else the whole front hangs open from the waist up). Regardless, I'm happy with it because of the price ($20).Actually a plus size

I really liked the game and movie Prince of Persia, so I was excited about this costume. I'm a size 6 in jeans, and I went with the small. The pants and tunic mostly fit, In that I didn't feel like I needed the medium. However,the sleeves were extremely narrow, and the material is completely inflexible. I could barely move my arms when I put it on and I was concerned I was going to rip out of it. I don't have insane bodybuilder arms either. I'm not sure if this is just an issue with the small, or with all of the sizes. Also, just so you know, the red sash is sewn onto the sides and isn't long at all, you have the option of tying it in front like the picture and having your back bare, or tying it around your back and not having the pieces hanging in front. I ended up taking off the sleeves and doing a good bit of sewing to make this into something wearable, so be forewarned.Tamina costume

The feet velcro over the shoe and are flimsier than I would have guessed, the collar and cuffs do not quite puff up the way the picture shows, and the wig needs a lot of work to look right, but the costume is still better than many I've seen and looks just like Barney Rubble.
I bought the Fred, Wilma, and Betty costumes and they are also adorable. Very similar to the pictures shown and the fabric is better than the fabric on the less expensive costumes. Well worth a little extra money.I can't even explain how bad this stupid thing was

I had originally purchased this hat, not for a little one or a costume party, but for me to use for a joke. My friends tend to call me a polar bear, so I decided I might as well show off how much of a polar bear they think of me to be. It's a surprisingly warm hat; I've worn it at temperatures hovering below zero degrees fahrenheit as well as through snowy conditions and the scarf/mittens have kept me toasty. The material itself is very soft, unlike some animal hats one might see at the mall. I tend to wear it around campus now: It keeps me warm on my way to class, and it brings a smile to people's faces. This costume is very cute. Not the best quality, but totally works. It does run very wide, but I guess that goes with the clown look. The size seemed accurate, and my daughter looks really cute in it.CUTE COSTUME!
My daughter (and everyone who see's her in it) LOVES this costume. The material is the same as most costumes, fairly delicate, but it has lasted through multiple events. I paired the dress with white tights and black shoes (like in the photo) and during the cold, black boots. Both were adorable. We also painted her face. I attached a picture. This costume was poorly constructed. I had to break out the sewing machine to repair/correctly attach the fur trim to the hat and the waist. For some reason there was no fur trim on the pants, which were too short for my average height 4 yr-old. I had to go out and buy some fur to sew on the bottom of the legs. I "thought" the description said the beard was included, it wasn't (gloves are not included either). This is a cute costume but very flimsy - good for one trick or treating and really for a child older than a toddler. The sleeves are made of a thin net metal that frays easily - I spent more time sewing up the sleeves and the top of the bodice. The sizing is weird in places - too big in one place and too small in others (armholes, for example are way too thin and this causes the seams to fray at the armhole and chest). I thought my daughter would like the colors but she didn't on this one. Also, the sleeves frayed bad at the 'armband' in the upper arm and it was nearly impossible once frayed to sew it back together.
