The wings themselves are pretty sturdy -- we've not had any issues with the netting tearing (yet), but the elastic straps are already starting to stretch a bit, which is surprising.
The metal frame is somewhat easily bent, but also easy to bend back into shape, so no big deal there.
Overall, I'm content with them. My girls loved them, and haven't noticed yet that the shoulder straps aren't as snug as they were when we first got them.
Granddaughter LOVES Them!
The wings went on over the jammies as soon as my 19 month old granddaughter opened them Christmas morning! They wire around the outside is not flimsy. I don't know wire gauge, but it is strong enough that the wings did not become bent during long transport in a car or when my granddaughter sat on the couch or in a chair. I believe the wire will be strong enough to be bent back into shape if necessary without weakening the product. The fabric seems attached well and is not too thin. We did try to watch to make sure they didn't get ruined right away, but I figured they have to be able to hold up to young children's play and they were in great condition when I left several days later. Very fun!
