Good for parties.
Okay, first off, I did like the costume, don't get me wrong. If you need it for a party, then it is okay. If you're doing something for the civil war though like a play or a reenactment, I would not recommend this costume. The color in the picture shows a dark blue, which is what the Union wore during the civil war, but the actual costume is light blue. It's only good if you're not planning to do a civil war reenactment.
