That's the sizing for this item. My son's going to be 13 months old soon and we thought we can pull this off. It was a tight fit, but it did the job. The buttons are of very low quality. They don't snap on that securely...especially in the diaper and legs area. But that could have easily have been due to the size being too small on him. I really wanted this particular costume and knew that it would run a tad short, so I shouldn't have been surprised.
As I stated in the title. I wish they had more sizes to choose from.
Way too cute once you see the tail!
My daughter was so cute in this for Halloween. Once they turn and you see the tail, you realize just how cute the costume is!
