The material is a bit stiff, almost like cardboard. In other words, it won't lay nice and easy on your body. Once you tuck the shirt in and you star to move around, you will notice all kinds of places where the shirt bulges in strange uncomfortable ways. The shirt is huge. My waist is 38" and my chest is 46" and I had to have the waist altered because it is made for a much bigger belly. Just mentioning this as a reference point in case you are wondering about the cut/fit. The belt is for show and not adjustable. I had to cut the buckle out and sew it back on to make it adjustable down to a size 38". I'm guessing it made for a 46" waist.
