I bought this for my 8 year old daughter to wear in a dance recital. I wasn't sure if I should get her a small or a medium. I was concerned that the costume looked too much like lingerie so I got a medium so it would be longer. The costume was huge! I needed to take it in significantly, but I was glad I didn't get a small, because to me it did look like lingerie. I don't consider myself conservative, but I think it is a bit sexy looking. The tights are black pantyhose so I had her wear black leggins instead. One of the gloves got a hole in it, but we didn't mind, because it was a monster dance.

We bought this costume to use in a dance recital. It looks cute and we are hoping in holds up to dancing in it.

I mistakenly bought the wrong size so all the parts didn't fit my daughter very good she is a petite 7 year old who still wears an occasional size 6 and it was way too small.
