My son got this because his brother got Luigi and they love love love pretending to be Mario and Luigi so much that they want to be plumbers when they grow up.
The material seems to be durable, I wash it about once a week and everything is still intact, no holes.
The hat fits everyone, from my two year old to my husband.
I am glad I purchased this for him!!

My 3yr old son LOVES mario, and he has worn either the hat or the costume daily since it arrived back in early October. The mustache is horrible. Its so big it covers the kids entire face. The hat is a bit big, but not so bad that it has deterred him from wearing it EVERYWHERE even to bed. The only other complaint I have is that the little velcro on the back constantly gets stuck to the costume thus causing serious snagging to the back.
