This is a one piece dress with a detachable collar and tiara. No zipper on the back, only a small opening. Since the fabric is NOT stretchy it was difficult to put on my kid. We had to improvise - cut down the back to make a bigger opening and sew on some fasteners. Afterwards, the poor quality fabric had ripped seams on the arms after one wear. Beautiful design and that's what made me buy it, but this is a disposable dress.

I love this. It was great that it came with the crown and the choker as well as the detachable collar. It says it can't be ironed but I ironed mine on the lowest setting and very quickly and it came out beautifully. Well worth the price.
Just like the picture
I am not sure what happened with the other reviewer's purchase, but this costume arrive exactly as it appears in the picture, color and all (with the exception of the length). It is not a bright red at all. I was not sure about the size since the large said 12-14 but was supposed to fit an 8-10 year old. I opted for the large figuring it would be easier to take it in then try to make it larger. My daughter is 10 and it fit her just fine although even with shoes it dragged slightly on the ground and she stepped on it a few times while trick or treating (I would consider her average height for a 10 year old).
While the costume looks like the picture, it arrived severely wrinkled because it was folded tightly into its packaging. Unfortunately, this material does not "dewrinkle" easily. While the wrinkles somewhat added to the charm of the costume, the collar (which feels like fabric over some sort of foam) was not folded in a symmetric manner so was a little off in terms...
