This costume is adorable and perfect for the school play my daughter is in (she's playing Gretel)...but she is normally a size 12 and most size 12s run a little big on her since she's so skinny...this L(12/14) is very short and seems like she'll grow out of it soon. It's good for the price, but if your child has any meat on her, order a size bigger than what she usually wears.
Cute, runs a little small
My daughter's school has an International Festival and this year she picked the country Germany, so I was looking for a costume resembling traditional German clothing. This dress is really cute, but I think runs a bit small. My daughter is 4, but wears 5T clothing. I ordered her the size small which says 4-6. T-shirts size 4-6 fit her great. But I would say this dress in the size small is more like a 4T. She can still wear it, but it's a little small on her. Also she says it's itchy. But I think that will be the case with any costume-quality clothing.

This costume was cute, no doubt... My costume matched it exactly but was the big girl size :) My costume was a much better quality and make then this, I expected them to be similar in quality. Where I had parts sewn on, hers were glued on in a poor manner. Since this is just a costume I won't be too hard on it but I'm comparing it with mine which was identical. We had a pink tutu we put under it which really made it so much cuter!
