Running small on the waist and very long
So I bought this for my daughter for Halloween. It was a bad idea and it cost more to send it back then I want to spend, so I still have it.
The problem is that after reading the reviews I bought a size bigger, but the waist of this thing its so thin that the size bigger fits her but... its way to long now. She won't be able to fit in it next year even if she grows taller because the waist will be to small.
My daughter is of average size and waist for her age... 3 next month- 32lbs, 3 feet and one inch tall.
Good costume for the price
Got this for my daughter this past Halloween. She loved it, and still wears it around the house some when she's "playing mermaid". My only issue with it was it fit kinda snug, and the tail is right in front of her feet. You may want to order a size larger especially if you want to wear anything under it. I got it for Halloween and here in PA it can be kinda cold by the end of October. And my "little mermaid" isn't the most graceful walker so I really had to help her when walking fom house to house so if it was up to me the tail would be relocated to behind the feet. Other than that it was a pretty costume and she loved wearing it.
