At the time I thought I was buying this in grown up sizes...
When I ordered this it had been listed as "California Costumes Women's The Mad Hatter Costume,Multi,7-9" and I did buy it direct from Amazon, not a 3rd party. I got it and the packaging says "Teen." They've amended the listing to say "Teen" now. Do keep that in mind for sizing. And why don't I just list the sizing off the package while I'm at it? That would help, right?

Junior (3-5) Fits up to 34" Chest, 27" Waist, 34" Hip, 65" Height, Weight up to 110 lbs
Junior (7-9) Fits up to 36" Chest, 27.5" Waist, 36" Hip, 67" Height, Weight up to 120 lbs
Junior (11-13) Fits up to 38" Chest, 28" Waist, 38" Hip, 68" Height, Weight up to 135 lbs

So there's actually not a massive difference between a 3-5 and a 11-13, I guess. 1" bigger waist? lol

I squeezed into my 7-9 but if I were a half inch bigger in any dimension it wouldn't have happened.

Teen sizes. Just remember that these are teen sizes.

I bought this for my teenager. We are all coinciding our costumes. She will be the mad hatter, my two year old will be Alice, and I will be the Cheshire cat. This costume really impressed me! The quality is amazing, much better than many costumes out there. It's not heavy duty clothing, but as far as costumes go in their usual cheap construction, this one is far better than most. I wouldn't pay it, cause I couldn't afford it; but I would wager this costume could be in the price range of a $50-$60 dollar costume. I bought this in a large(11-13) even though my teen wears a size 8 and it's a perfect fit. You may want to go larger in your purchase. Throw on some leggings to cover up the exposed legs and a tank, and your all set!

This costume is adorable! I ordered the size 7-9, and it fits me perfectly. I'm 5'2, 132 lbs. I normally wear a size 6, and I was afarid that the costume might run a little small. The dress ends above my knee, and it's very acceptable to wear around children, unlike some of the other female costumes that's more appropriate for the adult crowd. Quality is very good considering the price range of $30-31. I'm sooo looking forward to wearing this costume this Halloween!
