I am glad that I sized up for this. If you need the child to wear layers under it you will want to do the same. The length is right, but the bodice is narrow unless you size up. The fabric is very soft. My daughter loves it and has had it on for two straight days now. Be warned the black fluff on collars and cuffs does leave fuzz all over the house.
Great Costume
My daughter absolutely loves this costume! She wanted to wear it to bed and to school the next day. The fabric is super soft and the color and print are perfect; not too yellow, not too orange. I compared her measurements to their size chart and got a medium...should have gotten a large. It seems to run a bit small, if she grows at all between now and Halloween she won't fit into it anymore. The black fuzzies at the neck, arms and legs are nice and soft, just like you'd expect, but not attached too well. The opening in the back to put the costume on isn't quite long enough so we had to be very careful when trying it on, maybe in a larger size the opening would have been long enough. Overall a great costume that I would recommend to others.
Now furless
The costume was poorly made as the seams are coming apart. It is now mainly "fur" less. The price of this costume made me think it would last a little longer than a couple of days. Now I have to put it back together and re-fur it.
