Star Trek the Next Generation Male Deluxe Klingon, Adult XL - 2.8 out of 5 stars from 5 customer reviews
Costume is OK - but Mask and Hair are a Big Disappointment
I purchased both the male and female Klingon costumes by Rubies from amazon back in 2010, and from the other reviews on this page, it looks like the costume hasn't changed. I've reviewed the women's costume, too, and my comments are much the same for both.
The costumes themselves are OK. These are the "deluxe" costumes because they have quilted accents and the arms of the tunics are black "fur". You will probably want to wear your own black pants, though, and, if you have them, real black boots. You can get relatively cheap fake leather boots on amazon or elsewhere, that will work for many costumes and can be used over and over again and look far far better than the dingbat boot covers they include with the costume. (It takes a little searching; try "men costume boot" - the standard "pirate" or "superhero" boot works for almost any costume. If you try off-Halloween season, you can often find them on sale.)
The big disappointment with both Klingon costumes,...
don't bother
this costume fits awkwardly and is extremely hot to wear. i live in a cold-weather state and couldn't stand it. i had to cut the fuzzy sleeves off to make the thing bearable. it also doesn't look very convincing. the forehead exoskeleton piece is pretty much useless. nothing "deluxe" about this costume.
Chork
I bought this for last Halloween and it was perfect! I had to add a cheap $5 wig to fill out the hair but this costume was a big hit! The mask was fantastic. It was very well made except the hair was thin. This padded costume was inexpensive and with the added hair and some $2 brown make-up the effect was very Kilngon-like!
