The product is really really different than the picture they show.
The fabric is bad and cheap, and the details have really bad confection.
Im going to share a picture for you to see how bad it is this cupcake costume.
Another coment: the base of the costume looks like a plastic skirt, but it is made of fabric.
A Kid's Review
I ordered this product hoping that it would fit me like it fits the model in the photo, and it doesn't. Unless that model is 5 foot nothing, there is no way they sent me the same product. I am 5'9" and wear a size 29 pant, so I would consider myself thin. My friend is 5'5" and wears a size 26 pant. This product did not fit either of us. It's very tight at the hips so I'm going to have to probably cut the sides of the blue base to make it slip over my hips correctly instead of bunch up like it does now. Also, I found a costume at Walmart that looked exactly like this one for only $17. The picture simply makes it look a lot bigger on the model than on me, which makes me think the costume in the picture is not the same thing that showed up on my doorstep. I did see a warning that this costume was "running small," and indeed it does. I'm not impressed.
One size will NOT fit most
It's super cute and was true to the pictures. The plastic lining that makes it round was all twisted up, but I was able to fix it, so it's no big deal. There is a costume exactly like this being sold at Wal-Mart, but it doesn't come with the cherry-on-top headband, but if I would have known that before hand I would not have paid twenty extra dollars just for a head band, and the cherry was coming unglued, although it's easy to fix, just not worth the $44 when Wal-Mart has it for $19.
