I read many of the reviews on this product prior to purchasing and initially was a bit hesitant that the helmet wouldn't fit my son. I was pleasantly surprised and my son is elated with this set.
One reviewer said that the jersey 'wouldn't fit a teddy bear'. That must be one very large teddy bear as both the helmet and jersey fit both my 4 year old son and my 7 year old daughter. Actually, both my husband and I can fit the helmet on our heads. :) The helmet is a bit large on my son's heard, once he gets it on, as it is a bit tight near the ear pads. I have purchased foam inserts made or bike helmets to add extra padding so it doesn't slip down over his eyes.
This is a great set if you are looking for something for your kids to wear around the house to 'play' in and not to play actual football. I would definitely recommend the product for that purpose.
