Great For The Price, But......
I realize that as far as Halloween costumes go this is a fairly inexpensive choice so I did not have the highest hopes when the item arrived in the post. I was surprised by how much I liked the costume despite the low cost; with one exception; the neck/collar of the costume is very small. I did check the sizing posted with this item; as should anyone when the sizing is described only as "standard". But no where did I see a mention of how small the circumference of the neck/collar of the item would be.
The neck/collar measures 12 inches in diameter. I have what I consider to be a fairly regular to small sized neck and my neck is 14 inches in diameter; you do the math on that. I plan on implementing some strategic safety pinning but what worries me is since I cannot properly zip the costume up all the way and utilize the velcro attachments on the back of the neck/collar piece it will be impossible for the collar to stand up properly at the back of ones neck as pictured...
