First the pros: this is a well made costume, far from stage quality, but better than average. The dress part is pretty, the top has pretty lace on the cuffs and it falls nicely off the shoulders. On me (about 5'7") the shorter parts of the hem fell just below the knee, but unlike the picture the longer parts of the hem did not fall that far, more like to the middle of my calf. The skirt is velvet and the top is shiny material. I really liked the dress part of it. It fit well and was comfortable.
Cons: The vest seems cheap, and the string that pulls it together is too short and flimsy. You'd be better off using something else to tie the vest together, but it could tear the fasteners on the vest so be careful. The sash that goes around the hips is OK, and I did like the look once I got it to look right, but I could've done without it. I had to wear this two nights in a row, and ended up not wearing the vest the 2nd night and just wore a scarf I had around my hips and that...
You get what you pay for.......
Bodice is really flimsy, definitely not something you can tighten or lace up, like a better quality bodice. Overall, this was just okay.

the corset piece was a little flimsy, but its good fitting and seems like it will hold up with a little wear.
