Infant Baby Bug Plush Costume-Infant size up to 24 months - 4.5 out of 5 stars from 4 customer reviewsGreat costume
This costume looks great on my 2yo. The ladybug costumes I saw in the store looked more like red fairy dresses with black spots than a ladybug. Also, not very practical her in NH where it is normally pretty cold on Halloween. This costume looked mroe like a ladybug. I was a little leary given it was 12-24mos and she is solidly in 2T now, but tried it given reviews. It does fit her well. She was 2 the end of June (and now 33.5 inches measured against the wall) and the cosume part comes down to just below her bottom (so not quite as long as on the baby in the photo, but actually works well as she can move in it). There is also plenty of room underneath for warm clothes (sweatshirt, sweatpants, etc) for when she wears it outside. And with lighterweight clothes underneath, she could just as easily wear it for indoor parties. The only caution if you are considering for 2yo is that the had just barely fits her and her head has always been on the smaller side (30-40th % for age) so if you...

Loved the costume - had a bit of trouble keeping the wings on, but overall it was an excellent choice!!!
Infant Baby Bug plush costume
My two-year-old has used this for two halloweens (she's small, still just 32" tall). It worked ok when she was one and didn't walk, but is definitely better now that she can walk. Very cute and she enjoys it. Easy enough to take on and off, which is good since its too bulky to wear in the carseat, just watch that hair doesn't get stuck in velcro. Warm enough for cool weather. This year I sewed a strap onto the hat since its very large and constantly fell off, don't know why it didn't come with some kind of strap! The hat fits well, doesn't cover eyes, just too loose to stay on without a strap. I'd also prefer if there were some way to make the wings stay unfolded when costume is on. Good that they fold together for storage, but not as cute when she's wearing it.
