I ordered this costume for my 15-month old and it was precious. We attended numerous Halloween parties and people were always commenting on how adorable she looked. My 15-month old is tall for her age, but not excessively tall. She wore the toddler size; there is absolutely no way she could have worn the infant size, even though the sizing chart fitted her for that one. Consequently, I would be cautious in using the size chart. I think they run small and because they snap at the crotch, there is little way to fake an ill-fitted costume.
In short, the costume is absolutely precious and washes up very nicely. Order larger than you might normally.
