Received this a few weeks before Christmas, unfortunately there is no way this will fit a five year old. The waist of the skirt is LITERALLY the size of an 7-8 month old baby's waist. Of course it is made of an elastic band which can at BEST be stretched over a 2-3 year old's waist. The wings are sized perfect for a toddler, but would look small and awkward on any child older than that. They are much smaller than I thought they would be. The wand and headband are very cute. Overall costume is very cute and well made but PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FOR ANY CHILD OLDER THAN 3 !!!

I agree it was sized a bit small,so order for around 3-5 yr old.My daughter loved it and her being small was able to fit fine and she is 7 but every child is different.She is still wearing the outfit after pics and loves it!
Butterfly Tutu Set
I got this for my 2 year old. She really likes the wings, everything else she really hasn't had much interest for yet. The set it really cute. The wings seem pretty durable. I read other reviews saying the wand unraveled shortly after receiving it, ours hasn't but maybe it is just because she hasn't really played with it. The wings made it worth it for me. They fit her perfectly and will for maybe a couple years.
