This is pretty much what you'd expect from a cheap store-bought costume, only it is anything but cheap. I wish I had been able to find a red coat elsewhere, but I had no luck. When I found this costume I thought it would serve its purpose well for Carmen Sandiego. It comes with the coat and hat, but honestly the hat is so awful that the coat was the only usable piece. The hat is just a misshapen,crushed foam monstrosity. I ended up having to order a different hat from another seller.
Also, in true store-bought costume fashion this coat ran about two sizes too small. I take a L or XL and I had to order a 2XL. I am glad I did, because it would never have fit me otherwise. Make sure you check the size charts!
That said, the coat did look nice. The buttons stayed on and I didn't have too many loose strings to cut. The best part about it though was the lightweight material. If it had been anything but a cheap, flimsy costume coat I would have died in the sweltering...
