We bought this last year (2011) as a Halloween costume for our Golden Retriever (about 75-78 pounds). It needed a fair amount of alteration to look good, but then t looked great. I'll try to post a photo. (Our dog is not very stocky, and stands pretty tall for his weight, but while the XL fit his chest, the legs were too long, as was the length of the neck/chest piece, so I had a local seamstress take up a couple of inches both in the neck/chest length and in the leg length. It cost $15 to have that done, but was worth it. The legs, especially the opening at the top, were not quite wide enough, so eventually they tore.
The fabric is light-weight rayon, which frays very easily, so when the costume tears, it's pretty much unrepairable. So this was a one-use costume.
The cape is prone to sliding around, so I think we safety-pinned it to the back of the "shirt" part of the costume to keep it centered on our dog's back.
