Sif Costume - 4.7 out of 5 stars from 3 customer reviewsFun costume
As a long-time fan of Marvel Comics' Lady Sif, I was so pleased to find this costume. My daughter knows about Lady Sif from the recent Thor movie. She absolutely loves this costume.
Do buy the sword as people will constantly ask, "Who are you supposed to be?".
We found this to be educational as it spurred interest in reading age-appropriate Norse myths and related Accelerated Reader (AR) books. We also learned about history.
A long-sleeved t-shirt was easily worn underneath for added warmth. I also added a burgundy and golden fleece cape that I made from instructions I found online. Fleece is easy to sew with a machine. My daughter actually has a pair of real boots, similar to the ones in the picture.
The costume durability is typical for costumes, but due to the design and fabric used (as opposed to the see-through stuff), it should last longer than usual. It does not appear to be able to withstand machine washing.
Great costume
Fit well for my daughter who is slightly larger than a 5T. Love the leggings. My daughter was disappointed the sword didn't come with it.
Great Costume
was a little big for a someone in a small 10 but costume was great!!! Received a lot of compliments on it and dd said it was very comfortable! She was so excited with this costume... note due to costume being sleeveless, dd wore a flash colored bodysuit underneath and was fine on Halloween eveing while trick or treating. I was able to buy a sword on clearance in a party supply store for $5... unfortunately could not use the sword at school functions and since in School Halloween was cancelled was not able to get full effect of the cotume but my daughter loved it!!!
