We recieved the dress yesterday and my daughter refuses to take it off. My daughter is two and I wanted to get her a unique dress for Halloween and this dress is perfect. The only thing I was a little disappointed about is that the lights in the dress dont stay on you have to keep pushing the button however my daughter doesn't care.lol. Its a great dress for the money!
Nice costume
The dress arrived on time and in perfect shape. The dress lights up and twinkles nice and bright, very easily visible in a lit room. It seems to stay on until I push the button again to turn it off. I don't know why people are complaining about the button. Unless they got a different kind, the button took me 2 seconds to find. Not only is it labeled on the dress, it shows you in the instructions, and its part of the battery pack. I think a lot of people are having problems with the lights because they didn't read the instructions, and probably didn't pull the plastic protective tab out of the battery holder so it turns on for the first time. Downside: the thin sheer sleeves are flimsy, and a child could easily tear them playing too rough, or putting it on in a hurry. I doubt it will last with repeated use over and over, (at least the sheer sleeves) but it should hold up for a night of trick or treating no problem.
Great hit for gift!
My 5 year old granddaughter loved it! It's the only costume she's ever had that lights up! She saw it on my computer and was very specific that it was the one she loved the best, not knowing that it would "twinkle"!
