My son loved being Recon Commando for Halloween. I followed the advice of others and went a size higher (got L 10-12 for an average sized 8 year old) and it fit perfectly. You have to buy the knife separately, which was a bit of a hassle since he wanted the exact one in the photo. Was definitely a good purchase overall.
Awesome solider outfit for little boy
This outfit fits a little small but it was awesome in how it was made and looked. My grandson thought it was cool how it had muscles in it. He felt strong! He looked like he was in special ops.
Beware Of Missing Pieces
Disguise brand runs small. My son is a size 7-8 and is 8 years old. I ordered a large 10-12.
First shipment was missing all pieces except the bodysuit (from Best Costume Site). Amazon was great. I returned the original. They helped me place my new order (from 7th Avenue Store) with free shipping.
The new shipment came with all the pieces! We bought the knife and gun separately. My son LOVES it!!
