Let me start by saying that I needed a jester costume (one that didn't offend my sense of masculinity) but also did not scare little children. They don't make one. So I decided to buy this one and then remove the skulls from the hood and not wear the mask. So the problems reported with the mask are not an issue with me. It did arrive smashed but i feel that you could correct that out with a bit of time and inginuity. On the whole I thought that this costume was of fairly good quality for a costume. I ordered an extra-large and the fit worked perfectly for me (I'm 6' 1" and weigh 210 lbs with broad shoulders). It worked perfectly with one exception, the gloves. Not only did these gloves not fit me at all, but they barely fit my 12 year old daughters hands. THESE GLOVES ARE NOT FOR MEN. My eight year old son is the only one in the house that had no issues wearing the gloves and they fit him perfectly in terms of thickness (the fingers were long on his hands). So if you have...
Quality Halloween Costume
We ordered this for a local Haunted House attraction and it fared well throughout the entire season (15+ nights). The hat and mask are very durable. The gloves did rip from use after the second week due to the costume's design. If you're only using this for a night or two I wouldn't be concerned.

Well made costume! Will actually be able to get a few uses out of it over the years. Great looking with good detail.
