The costume overall looks good, though there are a few areas that fit strange, like the tight arm elastic and a somewhat baggy neckline (despite my large bust) and loose belly area. The headband is probably a child's size (on my head it fits near the top of my ears. I am a size 18-20 and ordered the larger size as others had suggested. One detail I enjoy is the transparent glittery skirt overlay.
The dress is great to serve it's purpose as a costume, but is not made to withstand much usage. It cannot be washed or dry cleaned, only spot cleaned.
Decent for the money
I looked into making this same costume using a pattern and purchasing the material myself. I could not have made this costume for this price. So in that respect, this was a good purchase.
Now for some issues I had to fix:
1. The elastic in the sleeves was incredibly tight. It was tight on my wrist let alone my upper arm. I took the elastic out and put new in.
2. The neckline droops. I put 2 small tucks and it now fits just fine.
3. There was no Velcro to attach the cape on the costume. There was Velcro on the cape, but nothing to attach it to. Easy fix.
4. The sparkle overlay on the skirt is only on the front not the back. This didn't bother me too much.
5. The Gold trim down the front of the bodice was sewn on crooked and was not strait. I took it off, purchased a different gold trim, and glued it to the front - straight.
6. Go up a size - these types of costumes run a bit small.
7. This costume is a bugger to iron. Do so...
It looks ok but it is like cheap
You expect more quality from Disney, but is kind of cheap, I had to make some adjustments, It is a little expensive for the quality, the fabrics in the front are different from the ones in the back!! how come!!... It is just ok. The seller was excellent!
