I got it to go with his Backhoe Cat truck., it would tell him to put on hard hat.
Great play helmet for toddlers
I bought this toy hard hat for my 3-year-old grandson. Made of molded plastic, it has a plastic webbing suspension liner that can be adjusted in size by fastening the plastic buttons on the belt to holes at the other end of the belt. The liner is like baseball caps that adjusted by fastening two plastic tabs - before they all changed to Velcro-type fasteners. The outside of the helmet stays the same size, but the liner adjusts to the child's head. It looks great with the child's tool belt I also bought.
I returned to Amazon to buy 5 more helmets for grandchildren, whose ages range from one to five. The helmets fit all of them. The last two helmets looked slightly different than the product illustration, but the were also good-looking helmets. I've added pictures to the product page.
Great for the little guy!
Finding a child's hard hat has been a challenge, so I was very happy to find this one. Nice & sturdy.
